Honcopampa

Located North East of Huaraz, the Honcopampa ruins are archaeological remains of the Wari culture. They are characterized by formations of high stone fortresses, a settlement which belongs to the Middle Horizon period (700 AD). It is composed of three high enclosures, and galleries inside.
